Eva Josephine Pitre: Houma Courier (LA), Sunday, 27 January 1980: Eva Pitre Danos, 75, a native and resident of Cut Off, died 1:40 a.m. Jan. 26 at Raceland. Visitation will be after 8 a.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. The funeral will be 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home with religious services 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Sylvester Danos; three sons, Tilman, Warren and Sylvester Jr. Danos; three daughters, Mrs. Norman Hebert, Mrs. Albert Orgeron, and Mrs. Gilbert Arceneaux; one brother, Victor Pitre; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Falgout Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
