Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet, May 1994:  Eads P. Pitre - A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Church in Galliano for Eads Pierre Pitre, 83, a native and resident of Cut Off who died at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21.  Visitation was from 4-10 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano.  Burial took place in Cheramie Cemetery.  He is survived by his wife Alzina Hebert Pitre; daughter Virginia Pitre; sisters, Lelia P. Lefort and Thelma P. Rodriguez; 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Didier Pitre and Julia Pitre; brothers Leo, Mark, Percy, Antoine and Paul Pitre; sisters Marguerite Pitre, Edith P. Curole and Richess P. Theriot.   Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of the arrangements.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet:  Alzina Hebert Pitre, age 94, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 9:18 p.m. March 25, 2006.  Visitation Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano; mass of burial celebrated Tuesday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.  Survived by her daughter Virgina Rita Pitre; granddaughters Jennifer Lasseigne and husband, Ira, and Scarlett Danos and her husband, Robert; great-grandchildren Monique Hodson and husband, Benjamin, Lance Lasseigne and companion, Kensie Bonvillain, Jared Lasseigne, Angelle Stratton and husband, Derek, Lea Danos and companion, Wallie Bruce, Bo Danos, Jon Danos and Bob Danos; great-great-grandchildren Claire, Nathan and Gabriel Hodson and Gavin Lasseigne; sisters Delphine Hebert, Enesia LeJeune and Emelda Lafont; and brother Onezippe Hebert Jr.  Preceded in death by her husband, Eads Pitre; parents, Onezippe Hebert Sr. and Enesia Smith Hebert; grandsons Nathan and Regie Truxillo; sisters Edelia Hebert Guidry and Beatrice Hebert Pitre; and brothers Bert Sr., Sandras, Lipton and Roy Hebert.  Charter member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Fr. Charles J. Tessier Kaycee Auxiliary of Larose; loved to go to the casino, play Skip-Bo, Phase 10, make the solitaire and watch television.
