1994: Eads P. Pitre - A Mass of Christian Burial was held at
2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Church in Galliano for Eads Pierre Pitre, 83,
a native and resident of Cut Off who died at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21.
Visitation was from 4-10 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until funeral time today at
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Burial took place in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Alzina Hebert Pitre; daughter Virginia
Pitre; sisters, Lelia P. Lefort and Thelma P. Rodriguez; 2
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents Didier Pitre and Julia Pitre; brothers Leo, Mark, Percy,
Antoine and Paul Pitre; sisters Marguerite Pitre, Edith P. Curole and
Richess P. Theriot. Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in
charge of the arrangements.
