Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 29 October 1954 - On Thursday, October 26, 1954, at 12:30 o'clock a.m., Elie M. Pitre, of 224 Gouaux avenue, Houma, La., husband of Modorea Boudreaux, father of Milton Pitre and Mrs. Ralph Romine of Houma, La., Mrs. Elvine Champagne and Mrs. Woodrow Leske of New Orleans, La., aged 73 years, a native of Terrebonne parish and a resident of Houma, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place on Friday, October 29, 1954, at 9:30 o'clock a.m., from the Chauvin Funeral Home, Houma, La.  Religious services at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church, Houma, La.  Interment in Magnolia cemetery.  Chauvin Funeral Home in charge.

Joseph Milton Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), 28 February 2002:  Milton Joseph Pitre, 97, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home.  Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.  He is survived by one son, Harold J. Pitre of Bourg; one daughter, Della Pitre of Houma; one sister, Olga Pitre Romine of Houma; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Guillot Pitre; his parents, Elie Pitre and Madora Boudreaux Pitre; and two sisters, Hattie Pitre Feska and Elvine Pitre Champagne.  He was a retired owner/operator of Pitre’s Auto Repair and a member of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

Olga Pitre:  Houma Courier (LA), 29 April 2007:  Olga Pitre Romine, age 95, a native of Terrebonne and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, leaving her body to science.  Visitation Monday with a memorial mass Monday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.  Survivors include her nieces, Lois C. McKuch and Della P. Bass and several great-nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by husband of 37 years, G. Ralph Romine; parents, Elie and Medora Boudreaux Pitre; two sisters, Elvine P. Champagne and Hattie P. Feske and three brothers, Macon, Junius and Milton Pitre.  Member of St. Francis de Sales Church, a loving and special aunt and her home was always open to family and friends.
