Obituary: The Evening Gazette (Worcester, MA), Monday, April 19, 1943: Linwood, April 19 - The funeral of Edgar J. A. Peters who died late Saturday night in Memorial Hospital, Worcester, from injuries to a hand received at his work in the Whitin Machine Works last week, will be tomorrow morning at the home on Church street with a requiem high mass at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St Patrick's Cemetery in charge of Arthur D. Tancrell. He was 25 years of age, born in Tyngsboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Peters and resided in Connecticut before coming here several months ago. Surviving are his parents, a wife and two sons, Edgar, age 2, and Daniel, 7 months; three brothers, Ernest of Blackstone, Arthur of Linwood and Corp. Harold Peters stationed in New Jersey, and three sisters, Mrs. John LeQuesne of Linwood, Mrs. Louise Foote of Lowell, and Mrs. Irene Perry of Lowell.

Obituary: Norwich Bulletin (Norwich, CT), Thursday, 19 April 1990: Emily E. Watson, Mitchell College employee, Jan. 9, 1921 - April 18, 1990: Waterford - Emily 'Tiny' E. (Phelps) Watson, 69, of 40 Mullen Hill Road, died yesterday at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. She was born on Jan. 9, 1921 in New London, daughter of Eugene and Emily (Button) Phelps. She had been a resident of Waterford since 1946. Mrs. Watson had been employed for 32 years in the maintenance department at Mitchell College, last working April 3, 1990. She was a member of the Waterford Grange Club. Survivors include two sons, Edgar Peters of Oscoda, Mich., and Daniel Peters of Norwood, Mass.; one daughter, Kathleen L. Howard Bargnesi of Oakdale; two brothers, Daniel Phelps of Bostwick, Fla., and Clyde Phelps of Stonington; one sister, Evelyn Alger of New London; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. The Impellitteri-Bridges Memorial Home, New London, is in charge of arrangements.
