Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 18 February 1969:  Eusebe Pitre, at Our Lady of The Sea Hospital, Galliano, La., on Monday, February 17, 1969, at 3:45 o'clock a.m., beloved husband of Irene Punch; father of Mrs. Calvin Pizant, Catherine, Ethel, and Edward Pitre; brother of Robert, Francis and Bolcere Pitre, Mrs. Percy Cantrelle, Mrs. Anderson Griffin, Mrs. Vincent Saia and Mrs. Jefferson Pitre; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elphege Pitre; survived by 2 grandchildren; age 45 years; a native and a resident of Cut Off, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Lafourche Lodge No. 427, Galliano, La., on Wednesday, February 19, 1969, at 10:30 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at Methodist Church, 11:00 a.m., Golden Meadow, La.  Interment in Chalmette Cemetery, Galliano, La.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Galliano, La., in charge.

Faye Anne Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 27 March 2016:  Faye Pitre Pizani, 68, a native and resident of Galliano passed away March 26, 2016.  Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano from 11:00 am until service time on March 29, 2016.  Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm with cremation following and burial at Cheramie Cemetery at a later date.  Mrs. Faye is survived by her sons Scott James Pizani his wife Nicole Marie Pizani and Christopher James Pizani his wife Melissa Ann Pizani, grandchildren Adam James Pizani wife Casey Mayfield Pizani, Kamryn Nicole Pizani, and Gabrielle Jolie Pizani, great grandchildren Kai James Pizani and Asher Scott Pizani, brother Edward "Joe" Pitre and sisters Catherine Serigny and Ethel Pitre Vega.  Mrs. Pizani was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years Calvin James Pizani, and parents Eusebe Pitre and Irene Pitre Savoie.  In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society in Mrs. Faye's name.
