(So) Pitre, on Wednesday, November 27, 1974, at 4:30 o'clock p.m.; husband of Corrine Guillot Pitre, father of Edward Pitre, stepfather of Mrs. Lawrence Allemand, Earl, Leroy and Alton Blanchard, Mrs. William Besson; brother of John, Joseph, Morris, Raoul, Merville and Leander Pitre, Mrs. Harry Bonvillain, Mrs. O'Neal Andras and the late Mrs. Frank Hoffman and Eves Benoit; also survived by 22 grandchildren; age 66 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, Louisiana on Saturday, November 30, 1974 at 10:00 a.m., followed by religious services at St. Genevieve Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation on Friday from 3:00 o'clock p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and on Saturday 8:00 a.m. until funeral time.

Obituary:  The Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Friday, 27 May 1994:  Lucille Betty Bonvilain Orsburn of Westwego, La on Wednesday, May 25, 1994 at 2:38 PM.  Beloved wife of the late Clarence Orsburn.  Mother of Mary Betty Murphy, Edward (Heavy) Pitre, Philip Jr. Bourgeois and the late Gladys Netto.  Daughter of the late Eugene Bonvilain, and Leoncie LeBlanc Bonvilain.  Sister of the late Lucia Claus, Bessie Bourgeois, Rita Thibodeaux, Rose Sevin, Leonce, Clarence, Lawrence, Eugene, Lester and Joseph Bonvilain.  Also survived by 26 grandchildren and a host of great- and great-great grandchildren.  Age 83 years.  A native of Thibodaux, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. for the past 25 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Knights of Columbus Council No. 10123 of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Amvets of Westwego.  Friends of The Westbank Bingo Halls and Employees of West Jefferson Hospital, are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. John Catholic Church, Thibodaux, La. on Saturday, May 28, 1994 at 10:00 o'clock AM.  Followed by interment in St. John Cemetery, Thibodaux, La.  Visitation on Friday evening May 27, 1994 after 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.  From the parlor of Westside Funeral Home, Marrero, La. and again on Saturday morning, May 28, 1994 after 9:00 AM until Mass Time at St. John Catholic Church in Thibodaux, La.

Pitre, on Saturday, December 15, 1979, at 11 o'clock a.m., wife of the late Edgar Pitre, mother of Mrs. Shirley Allemand of Lockport, La., Earl Blanchard of Larose, La., Alton Blanchard of Virginia, Mrs. Sarah Besson, and Leroy Blanchard of Thibodaux, La., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orestile Guillot; also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, age 70 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux, on Tuesday, December 18, 1979 at 10:30 a.m., followed by religious services at Assembly of God Church at 11 a.m.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visitation on Monday 3 p.m. until 11 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m. until funeral time.  Arrangements by Landry Funeral Home.

Edward Joseph Pitre:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Edward Joseph Pitre, 60, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Lafitte, who died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 (1995) at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria.  Visitation will be 6 to 11 p.m. today and 8 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Westside Funeral Home in Marrero.  Burial will be in the church Cemetery.  He was the son of Edgard and Lucille Bonvillian Pitre; father of Murray Paul, Lorraine and Ellis Pitre, Jeanine Courville, Cecile Martin and Tammy Coco; brother of Mary Murphy and Philip Bourgeois.  He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Pitre; and a sister Gladys Netto.  Westside Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
