Obituary:  The Windsor Star (ONT), Tuesday, 4 December 1984:  Pitre - Ernest, 78 years, Dec. 1, 1984, late of Tecumseh.  Beloved husband of Anna Ducharme.  Dear father of Ernest, Ron, Gary, Tecumseh, Robert (Bob), Belle River.  5 grandchildren also survive.  Brother of Norman, Tecumseh, Mrs. Clara Landry, Windsor.  The funeral for Mr. Pitre was held Monday from the Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh and St. Anne Church.  Interment was in St. Anne Cemetery.

Ernest Denis Pitre:  Fair Haven Funeral Home (Moncton, NB):  Ernest Denis Pitre 21 Jan 1936 – 14 Apr 2021  Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2021 at the age of 85 years.  Beloved son of the late Anna and Ernest Pitre.  Dear brother of Robert (Rita), Ronald (Mary Margaret) and Gary.  Cherished uncle to Michael, Robert, Juliann, Ronnie and Chris.  Long-time employee and retiree from Green Giant.  Ernest was also part of the Tecumseh Fire Department for over 34 years.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your Choice.  A private family service to be held.

 

Joseph Ephrem Kenneth Pitre:  The Windsor Star (Windsor, ONT), Thursday, 3 August 1950:  Kenneth Pitre, 13 years, passed away suddenly August 2, 1950.  Beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pitre of Tecumseh.  Brother of Ernest Jr., Robert, Ronald and Gary, all at home.  Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Euphraime Pitre of Tecumseh.  Funeral Saturday from the residence of the parents, 125 Shawnee Road, Tecumseh, at 10:30 a.m., to St. Anne's Church, Tecumseh, at 11 a.m.  Interment Church Cemetery.  Prayers evenings at the residence at 8 o'clock. Robert Rheal Pitre:  Fair Haven Funeral Home (Moncton, NB):  Robert Pitre 22 Sep 1939 – 7 Jun 2021 (photo) Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 7, 2021 at the age of 81.  Robert is survived by his loving wife of over 57 years Rita (nee Tellier).  Cherished father of Robert, Julie Ann Mapes (David) and Michael (Dayna).  Proud Papa to Amanda, Sarah, Mason, Riley and Cooper.  Beloved son of the late Ernest and Anna Pitre.  Dear brother to the late Ernie, Late Kenneth, Ronald (Mary Margaret) and Gary (late Linda).  Robert will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Robert retired from Chrysler Canada after 28 years of service.  Robert was a volunteer fire fighter with the Belle River Fire Dept.  A member of the K of C Council 2775 and Past President of the Belle River Lions Club. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses at Para Med and Hospice of Windsor for their wonderful care and compassion.  A graveside service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 12 pm.  Please note that the Government of Ontario and the BAO mandates that reservations and masks or face coverings are required to attend the service.  To make reservations please call Melady Funeral Home.  In kindness, memorial donations to Hospice of Windsor/Essex would be appreciated.  When the restrictions allow, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
