Obituary: The Guardian (Charlottetown, PEI), Monday, 14 May 1962: Pitre - At Charlottetown Saturday, May 12, 1962, Mrs. Veronica Pitre, Rusticoville, in her 87th year. Her remains will rest at the Charlottetown Funeral Home from this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning leaving the funeral home at 8:45 for Requiem High Mass at St. Augustines Church, South Rustico at 9:30. Interment in the church cemetery.
