Obituary:  Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Sunday, 16 Aug 1959:  Dosithe Pitre of Berlin Dies.  Berlin, Aug. 15 - Dosithe David Pitre, 80, of 457 Hillsboro St., died Saturday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Manchester, where he had been a patient two days.  Born at Prince Edward Island, Canada, he had been a resident of Berlin for 55 years.  He was a member of Angel Guardian Parish and the Golden Age Club.  He was employed by the Brown Co., prior to his retirement eight years ago.  Members of the family include his wife, Eugenie (Trahan) Pitre, two sons, Charles Edward Pitre of Berlin and Alexander Albert Pitre of Norwich, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Laurett Dandeneau of Manchester and Mrs. Anita Bergeron of Berlin; a sister, Mrs. Isaie Lozier of Tracadie, New Brunswick; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Services will be held Tuesday morning at Angel Guardian Church with a high mass of requiem.  Burial will be at St. Anne's Cemetery.  Arrangements are under direction of Fleury Funeral Homes.

Obituary:  Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Friday, 29 September 1967:  Mrs. Eugenie Pitre.  Berlin - Mrs. Eugenie Pitre, 84, of 636 Beaudoin St., died yesterday at a local nursing home.  A native of Three Rivers, Que., she had lived here for 60 years and was a communicant of Angel Guardian Parish.  The family includes two sons, Alexandre Patre of Norwich, Conn., and Charles Pitre of Berlin; two daughters, Mrs. Laurette Dandeneau of Manchester and Mrs. Anita Bergeron of Berlin; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Trehan of Berlin and Henry Trehan of Fall River, Mass.; two sisters, Rev. Sr. Marie Ste. Aurelie of Prince Albert, Sask., and Rev. Sr. Alma Trehan of West Scarboro, Me.; and several nieces and nephews.  A solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated Saturday morning at Angel Guardian Church.  Burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Fleury Funeral Home at their convenience.

Charles Edward Pitre:  The Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Wednesday, 14 August 2002:  Stewartstown - Charles Edward Pitre, 84, died Aug. 10, 2002, at Coos County Nursing Home in West Stewartstown.  He was born in Berlin on June 30, 1918, the son of Dosithe and Eugenie (Trahan) Pitre.  Mr. Pitre worked as an auto mechanic for Glen Motors.  From 1967 to his retirement in 1982, he was the auto instructor for Berlin High School.  As a teacher he was active in the Plymouth trouble-shooting championship, where his team won several awards, including 10th place at the nationals.  He was an avid fisherman, a cabinet maker and a former member of St. Joseph Parish, now Good Shepherd Parish.  He was also a member of the teachers association.  The family includes a son, Richard Pitre of Kennebunk, Maine; one brother, Alexander Albert Pitre of Canterbury, Conn.; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Madeleine (Perreault) Pitre, in 1995; by a son, Raymond Pitre, in 1950; and by two sisters, Anita Bergeron and Laurette Dandeneau.  Calling hours are in Fleury-Patry Funeral Home on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., when a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.  Burial will be at St. Anne Cemetery.  Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Greater New Hampshire Chapter, Concord.
