Obituary:  Beaumont Journal (TX), Tuesday, 16 September 1969:  Funeral services for Cleopha Pitre, 82, of 1025 Ave. A, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Cathedral with the Rev. Joseph T. Engle officiating.  A Rosary will be recited in the chapel of Broussard's Mortuary at 8 p.m. Tuesday.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Pitre died at 12:45 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital.  A native of Baldwin, La., he lived in Beaumont 57 years.  He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Parish.  He was a retired miller having been employed at Tyrrell Rice Mills 46 years.  Survivors include his wife, Victoria Pitre; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Cole of Pasadena, Tex., Miss Betty Ann Pitre and Miss Joann Pitre, both of Beaumont; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Prevost of Jeanerette, La. and Mrs. Amy LeBleu of Port Arthur; a brother, Donnie Pitre of Port Arthur and three grandchildren.

Obituaries for the children:

Betty Ann Pitre:  Beaumont Journal (TX), Thursday, 18 February 1982:  Betty Ann Pitre, 51, of 1525 Avenue A died Wednesday at Schlesinger Health Care Facility.  Funeral was to be at 2 p.m. today at Broussard's Mortuary with burial in Magnolia Cemetery.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont.  Survivors include her mother, Victoria Pitre of Beaumont, and two sisters, JoAnn Pitre of Beaumont and Hazel Coe of Pasadena.
