Obituary: Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 29 August 1983: Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux, for Cleveland Joseph Pitre, 71, who died at 7:55 p.m. Friday. Religious services were scheduled immediately following at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. He was the husband of Aline Usey Pitre; father of Pauline Pitre and Ferline Mizell, brother of Vincent Pitre, Eulia Rodrigue, Mrs. Wilfred Baye, Ezolia Fazzio, Alberta Tassin, Mildred Thomassie, Anna-Bell Pitre and Betty Lou Shaver; son of Stella Hebert Pitre and the late Wallace Pitre. He is survived by one grandchild. Arrangements by Landry's Funeral Home.

Comet (LA): Funeral was at 10 a.m. today at St. Genevieve Catholic Church
in Thibodaux for Aline Usey Pitre, 79, a native and resident of
Thibodaux, who died Friday (1 June 1990) at 12:17 p.m. Interment was
in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux. She was the mother of Pauline Pitre
of Thibodaux and Ferline Pitre Mizell of New Orleans; and sister of
Antoinette Savoie of Houma. She also is survived by one grandchild,
one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Cleveland J. Pitre; and parents, Victor and
Aureli Dupre Usey. Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux is in charge of
arrangements.
