Obituary:  The Detroit News (Detroit, MI), Wednesday, 22 June 1938:  Services for Bernard A. Peters, who died Tuesday at his home, 3651 Field avenue, will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Catherine's Church.  Mr. Peters, who was born in 1858, lived in Detroit all of his life and was the oldest employee of the Packard Motor Car Co. in point of service.  He had been with the company 27 years and at one time was the head of the paint shop.  Surviving are the wife, Anna; three children, Mrs. Hilda Burt, and Edgar J. and Harvey R. Peters; and nine grandchildren.
