Obituary: Calgary Herald (Calgary, AB), Tuesday, 10 February 1948: Prayers for Beloney (Bert) Peters, 46, of Ymir, B.C., who died Monday in a local hospital, will be held in Gooder Bros. chapel today at 8 p.m. Requiem high mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 2 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Mr. Peters was born in St. Charles, P.E.I., and moved to Calgary last April for medical treatment. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; one son, Donald of Vancouver; four daughters, Mrs. M. J. Quinlan of Consort, Winona, Jean and Connie of Ymir.

passed away at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn her loss, one son,
Mr. Ross Garner of Vancouver; four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Cecile)
Newton of Edmonton, Mrs. Harold (Winona) Anderson of Quesnel, B.C.,
Mrs. John (Jean) Bachinsky of Edmonton and Mrs. Barry (Connie)
Sambrook of Regina; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four
brothers, George Kropinske of Consort, Ray Kropinske of
Summerland, B.C., Leo Kropinske of Summerland, B.C. and Leroy
Kropinske of Edmonton; one sister, Mrs. Gilbert (Rose) Fegg of
Didsbury. Prayers will be said on Friday at 8 p.m. at the Foster and
McGarvey Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10
a.m. at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church. Reverend J. F. Lafferty will
officiate and interment will take place in the St. Joachim's Cemetery. The
Memorial Society of Edmonton and District and Foster and McGarvey, Funeral
Directors.

A loving and caring mother, and nana to all. One whom was forever giving and welcomed everyone into her life. She is survived by two sons, Bert (Shirley) and Sterling Newton; two daughters, Carol-Anne (Al) Dion and Charlene Donison; eight grandchildren, Christine, Crystal, Tammie, Kristi-Lee, Tara-Lynn, Tyler, Keitha-Rae and Kalie; two great-grandchildren, Katie-Mae and Emma; one brother, Ross; three sisters, Nona, Jean and Connie; as well as her nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ebenezer United Church, Edmonton. Memorials may be made to the University Hospital Foundation, Intensive Care Unit 3C3, Edmonton, AB. Howard & McBride Westlawn Chapel.
