Notes for Anselme Pitre:
- On 1 November 1758, Anselme aged 20 disembarked at St. Malo from Le Duc Guillaume, along with his sister Marie Elizabeth Pitre and her husband Jean Baptiste Henry. According to Acadians in France (Rieder), all three were then hospitalized. Anselme Pitre was found convalescent at the hospital 3 November 1758 until his release December 4th. He then received permission and direction on 7 January 1759 for Lorient. Anselme Pitre, wife Elisabeth Dugas, and family were in the 4th Convoy leaving Chatellerault for Nantes from 6 March to 13 March 1776.
