Notes for Anselme Pitre:

- On 1 November 1758, Anselme aged 20 disembarked at St. Malo from Le Duc Guillaume, along with his sister Marie Elizabeth Pitre and her husband Jean Baptiste Henry.  According to Acadians in France (Rieder), all three were then hospitalized.  Anselme Pitre was found convalescent at the hospital 3 November 1758 until his release December 4th.  He then received permission and direction on 7 January 1759 for Lorient.  Anselme Pitre, wife Elisabeth Dugas, and family were in the 4th Convoy leaving Chatellerault for Nantes from 6 March to 13 March 1776.

- 1785 Le Saint Remi, France:  Twice widowed Anselme Pitre 45 (day laborer), Jean Pierre 21 (day laborer), Marie Francoise 18, Marguerite 14, Isabelle Olive 12.

- 1788 Lafourche, Louisiana census (left bank):  Enselme Pitre 47, Marie 21, Margueritte 16, Isabelle 14; 6 arpents, 35 quarts corn, 2 swine.

- 1791 Lafourche, LA census (left bank):  Ansem Pitre 50, Isabelle 18; 6 arpents, 100 quarts corn, 4 cattle, 20 swine.
