Robert Jack Lajambe:  Seattle Daily Times (Seattle, WA), Monday, 20 July 1942:  Robert Jack La Jambe, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert La Jambe, 4028 42nd Ave. S.W., died in a hospital yesterday after a brief illness.  A pupil at O'Dea High School, he was employed by the Western Union Telegraph Company as a messenger.  He was born in Yakima.  Surviving besides his parents are three sisters, Arlene Elizabeth, Patricia Lou and Peggy Ann La Jambe.  A Rosary will be said at 7:30 o'clock this evening and Requiem Mass at 8:15 o'clock tomorrow in the Holy Rosary Church.  Burial will be in Calvary under the direction of the Daniels & Brinton Mortuary.

 

Peggy Ann Lajambe:  Albany Democrat Herald (Albany, OR), Thursday, 17 August 2006:  Peggy Ann Elsey.  July 28, 1933 - Aug. 16, 2006.  Peggy Ann Elsey, 73, of Lebanon died Wednesday at home.  Peggy was born in Toppenish, Wash., the daughter of Albert and Marguerite (Casey) LaJambe.  She and Ronald Elsey were married more than 50 years.  She was preceded in death by Ronald in 2003 and son Steven.  Survivors include daughters Rhonda L. Galen of La Pine and Shelly L. Elsey of Lebanon; sister Patricia LaJambe of Edmonds, Wash.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  No services will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, Lebanon.
