Obituary:  Providence Journal (Providence, RI), Thursday, 23 August 1951:  Arthur Peters - Funeral services for Arthur Peters, 54, of 6 Hargraves Street, Hoxsie, a state tree surgeon, who died Saturday, took place yesterday at the Roy A. Stinson Funeral Home, Conimicut.  The Rev. Arthur Swift officiated.  Burial was in North Burial Grounds.  Bearers were James McDonnell, Domenic Marino, Omer Provost, Charles Thomas, Frank Miniscalco and Francis Bardsley.  Mr. Peters leaves a widow, the former Rhoda McClegg Greenhalgh; a son, Chester, of Providence; a daughter, Mrs. Doris B. Hayden, of Coventry; a brother, Kenneth Peters, of Lowell, Mass.; and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Peters, of Providence.

Obituary:  Providence Journal (Providence, RI), Tuesday, 4 May 1982:  Mrs. Rhoda Peters, 83, of 6 Hargraves St. died yesterday after a two-year illness.  She was the widow of Arthur Peters.  Mrs. Peters was born in Providence, and lived in Warwick for 33 years.  She was a machine operator for A. T. Cross Co. of Lincoln for 20 years before retiring 13 years ago.  She is survived by a son, Chester W. Greenhalgh of Warwick; a daughter, Mrs. Doris B. Hayden of New Port Richey, Fla., three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Her funeral service will be held Friday morning, at a time to be announced, in the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave.  Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
