Marie Leona Pitre: Turgeon (Madame Leona Pitre). On 11 November 2001 passed away at the hospital complex of Sagamie at the age of 78 years, 6 months, Madame Leona Pitre, wife of Mr. Antoine Turgeon, residing at 1631, Grands-Ducs street, Chicoutimi. The family welcomes relatives and friends to the funeral home Gravel & Fils, Chicoutimi. The reception hours are Tuesday 13 November 2001 from 2-5 p.m. an 7-10 p.m. On Wednesday, the day of the funeral, the salon opens starting at 9 a.m. The funeral will take place Wednesday 14 November 2001 at 11 a.m. at St. Isidore church of Chicoutimi. The ashes will be deposited at the St. Francois Xavier cemetery of Chicoutimi. She was the daughter of the late Antoine Pitre and the late Emelina Pitre. She is also survived by, besides her husband, Mr. Antoine Turgeon, her children: Gisele Turgeon (Mario Savard), Pierre (Edith Lessard), Serge (Germaine Munger), Marlene (Michel Tremblay), Chantale (Luc Morneau), Gilles (Audrey Tremblay); 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; her sisters: late Ernestine Pitre (late Simon Tremblay), Rose-Hilda; she was the daughter-in-law of the late Nil Turgeon (first wife late Appoline Boudreault, 2nd wife late Marie-Jeanne Grenon); she is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jeanne d'Arc Turgeon (late Robert Girard), Louis-Philippe (Colette Grenon), Jean-Paul (Therese Gagnon), Claudien (Georges Boily), Pauline (Claude Boily), Louisette (Bob St. Onge), Gabrielle (Jean-Marie Dinel), Marie, as well as nephews and nieces and many relatives and friends. For those who wish, a volunteer from the Fondation de ma Vie will be present at the fair to collect your donations.
