Marie Rose Fernande Pitre: Le Quotidien ou Le Progres Dimanche (Saguenay, QUE), 13 April 2010: Thank you for all the love you have given us. At the Jonquiere Health and Social Services Centre, on April 11, 2010, after a long and hard battle with illness, passed away surrounded by the love of her family, our mother, Fernande Pitre St-Onge, at the age of 87 years and 10 months. She went to join our father Adelard St-Onge. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Nault & Caron Funeral Home, Dignity Memorial, Jonquiere. Opening hours are Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Thursday, the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. from St-Matthieu Church, Jonquiere. Mrs. Fernande Pitre will be cremated and the ashes will be deposited at the Nault & Caron columbarium in Jonquiere. She is survived by her children: Lisette St-Onge (Rosaire Fleury), Jean-Paul (Lisette Lavoie), Mariette (Clovis St-Jacques), Sylvain, Line (Alain Decoste); her grandchildren: Nancy (Sylvain Pharand), Steve (Roxane Tourengeau), Francois (Annie Mercier), Sophie (Aron Quigley), Regis (Nathalie Gauthier); her great-grandchildren: Cedric, Chloe, Sasha, Samuel; her beloved brother Vital Pitre; her sister-in-law Rita St-Onge (Adrien Poirier) and the entire Gaspesie family. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as very good friends. The whole family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff on the 4th floor of the Jonquiere Health and Social Services Centre. Joseph Philippe Vital Fernand Pitre: Le Quotidien ou Le Progres Dimanche (Saguenay, QUE), 18 June 2014: On June 14, 2014, passed away at the CSSS de Jonquiere, at the age of 84, Mr. Vital Pitre, residing in Jonquiere, formerly of Pointe à la Garde. He was the son of the late Mrs. Eulalie Berger and the late Mr. Andre Pitre. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 10 a.m. at the back of the church in Pointe à la Garde. The funeral mass will be held that same Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Pointe à la Garde church. The ashes will be interred in the parish cemetery. He is survived by his children: Chantal (Philippe Cahn) and their daughters: Noemi and Moira (his daughter Keyla), Langis (Mary Richardson), Sophie (Claude Francoeur and their son Felix); his nephews and nieces: Lisette (Rosaire Fleury), Jean-Paul (Lisette Lavoie), Marielle (Clovis St-Jacques), Sylvain and Lyne (Alain Descostes) and many relatives and friends.
