Dorothy Marie Peters:  Valley News (West Lebanon, NH), Saturday, 26 April 2014:  Dorothy Marie Dube (photo) Lebanon, N.H. - Dorothy Marie Dube; 81 Passed away April 24, 2014 at her home in Lebanon.  She was born June 12, 1932, in Berlin, N.H. to Andrew Peters and Yvonne Laroche.  Dorothy went to St. Joseph School and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1951.  Growing up in Berlin she enjoyed working as a car hop waitress and towel girl for the Brown Paper Company.  She was a life time member of The Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in White River Junction, Vt.  She also loved ice skating.  Dorothy and Jean-Paul G. Dube were married on June 19, 1954 in Berlin.  Later moving to Lebanon to raise their family.  She was a loving wife and mother.  After raising her family she went to work at King's Department Store and later Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in housekeeping from which she retired.  Her family includes four daughters, Margaret Collins of Grafton, N.H., Alice Reif of Godfrey, Ill., Pauline Emerson of Orange, N.H., and Laura Dussault of Plainfield, N.H.; three sons, Leo Dube of Lebanon, Mark Dube of Enfield, N.H., and Robert Dube of Newport, N.H.; two sisters, Jeannine Buteau of Berlin and Lucille Marchand of Merrimack; seventeen grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Monday, April 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.  A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Raymond Vaillancourt, M.S. officiating.  Committal prayers will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lebanon.

 

Lucille A. Peters:  New Hampshire Sunday News (Manchester, NH), Sunday, 2 August 2020:  Manchester, NH - Lucille A. Marchand, 83, of Manchester died July 27, 2020, after a period of declining health.  Born in Berlin, NH, on August 8, 1936, she was the daughter of Andrew and Yvonne (LaRoche) Peters.  She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Berlin.  Lucille loved knitting, solving puzzles, reading and entertaining family and friends with her wonderful cooking.  She was a fun-loving woman with a tremendous sense of humor who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She was predeceased by her husband, Rene H. Marchand in 2010, her son, Edward Marchand in 2016 and sister, Dorothee Dube in 2015.  Family members include her four children, Raymond E. Marchand of Manchester, Therese Y. Wyman and husband Robert of Merrimack, Monique D. Cronin and husband Michael of Manchester, Paul R. Marchand and wife Brenda of Allenstown; nine grandchildren, Cory Marchand, Krystal Connors, Jennifer Bernier and fiance Neal Baker, Andrew Wyman, Stephen Wyman, Makayla Marchand, Nicholas Marchand, Briggette Cronin and Della Cronin; 5 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jeannine Buteau of Berlin.  A celebration of Lucille's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Monique.  A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 10, at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Merrimack.  Committal prayers and burial will be Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. in St. Anne Cemetery, Berlin.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Amyloidosis Foundation of Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA.  Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester, is assisting with arrangements.
