Phyllis Marie Peters: Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home (MI), Phyllis Brittain, October 7, 1929 - June 1, 2015: Phyllis M. Brittain age 85 of Berkley, Michigan passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Mrs. Brittain was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 7, 1929. She resided in Berkley, Michigan since 1950. Mrs. Brittain dedicated her life to helping others through St. Vincent De Paul and Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Berkley. Surviving are her children; Denise Baldwin, Deborah Brittain, Dawn Brittain, Shari (John) Burns, and Glenn (Rose) Brittain. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Sister of Robert (Shirley) Peters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Brittain Buzz and her son Stephen Brittain. Visitation at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home in Berkley 2-8 pm Thursday, June 4th. Rosary at 7 pm. In state at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Berkley Friday, June 5th from 10:30 am until time of funeral mass at 11 am. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. In memory of Phyllis Brittain memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church.
