Mother of Helen P. Orgeron, Emelda P. Lewis and Doris T. Watts. Daughter of the late Louis and Lorenza Vegas Pitre. Sister of Louis Pitre, Jr., the late Jane P. Falgout, and Noami P. Gislair. Grandmother of Helen Ann Orgeron, Debbie L. Derbes, Tammy Lewis, Rhonda L. Bellanger, Tim Watts, Billie W. Leblanc, Robin W. Boswell, Susan W. Jeansonne, preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Ray Orgeron and Tony Orgeron. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Age 96 years. A native of Cut Off, LA and a resident of Crown Point, LA for the last 75 years. Relatives and friends of the family and members of the First Baptist Church in Marrero are invited to attend Funeral Services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 1:00PM. Interment: Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 9:00 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Baptist Church of Marrero, 4001 Seventh Street, Marrero, LA 70072, are preferred.

Helen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexie N. Pitre and Bertha Pitre. Private Graveside services will be held at a later date. Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
