Gemma Pitre: 4 November 1934 – 10 May 2022. At the Mitis long-term care center on May 10, 2022, passed away at the age of 87 years and 6 months, Mrs. Gemma Pitre, residing in Mont-Joli, daughter of the late Mr. Andre-Moise Pitre and the late Mrs. Yvonne Pitre. The family will receive condolences on Sunday, June 5 starting at 1 p.m., at the Salon Onesime Frigon in Mont-Joli. A commemorative celebration to mark the departure of Mrs. Pitre will take place on Sunday, June 5 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Funeral Cooperative and from there to the Mont-Joli cemetery. She is survived by her children: Raymonde, Claude (Marielle Gagne), Viateur (Lucie Tremblay), Maurice (Nicole Pelletier), Claudette, Daniel, Linda and Sylvie (Sylvain Bergeron), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her brothers Aurele (late Therese Poirier) and Gabriel, her nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was also the sister of the late Hermel (late Ida Leblanc), the late Marcel and the late Daniel.
