Obituary:  North Bay Nugget (North Bay, ONT), Saturday, 5 November 1966:  Englehart - Alexander Motar Peters passed away in the Englehart and District Hospital, October 26 in his 74 year.  He was born at Highland Grove.  He served three and one half years in the army in World War I and saw service with the Forestry Branch in France.  In December 1919 he married the former Nina Jane Clark at Highland Grove and in 1920 they came north and settled on a farm in Chamberlain township where they since resided.  The late Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, four daughters - Verna, Mrs. J. Brown of Prescott; Frances, Mrs. R. Brown of Vancouver; Norma, Mrs. Jack Howie of Englehart and Beatrice, Mrs. L. Seguin of Kirkland Lake; four sons - Ernie, Calvin, Bob and Murray all of Englehart; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Friends paid their respects at the McDonald Funeral Home until the service in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church with Father M. Jeffrey officiating.  Interment was in the family plot in the Catholic cemetery in Englehart.  Pallbearers were Reg Walker, Harold Gilpin, Max Ennis, Jim Joiner, Sam Mills and Jan Dekker.
