Obituary: Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Tuesday, 10 October 2000: Rita Wiebelt Pitre, a retired corporate secretary, died Friday at her home. She was 76. Ms. Pitre was born in New Orleans and lived in Hammond. She was a volunteer worker for 15 years with North Oaks Medical Center. Survivors include a son, Adam J. Pitre III; a daughter, Cynthia McHale of Coral Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Carrie O'Donnell of New Orleans and Julie Mitchell of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Geisler Funeral Home in Hammond.
