Pitre, beloved husband of Lucille Edna Guillot, father of Allen J. Jr., Clifton A., Harold J. and Gerald J. Pitre, brother of Adolph, Robin and Joseph Pitre, Mrs. Amy Bouvier, Mrs. Mary Guillot, Mrs. Virginia Karemer, son of Eleonora Hebert and the late Joseph Pitre.  Survived by 13 grandchildren, age 58 years, a native of St. James Parish and a resident of Cut Off, Louisiana for the past 20 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Falgout Funeral Home Inc., Galliano, Louisiana, on Wednesday, February 15, 1967, at 9:30 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, Louisiana, at 10 a.m.  Interment Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Home Inc., Galliano, Louisiana, in charge.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 5 March 1985:  Lucille Pitre Danos - Services from Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano have been scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for Lucille Pitre Danos, 71, a native of Labadieville and a resident of Cut Off, for 40 years, who died at 10:30 p.m. Monday in Galliano.  Religious services will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off at 10 a.m. with interment in the church cemetery.  Friends may call after 5 p.m. today.  She was the mother of Allen Jr., Clifton, Harold and Jerald Pitre.  She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband by first marriage, Allen Pitre; and her husband by second marriage, Henry Danos Jr.  Arrangements by Falgout Funeral Home.

Allen Joseph Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), February 1995:  A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at. Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Allen Joseph Pitre Jr., 61, a native of Larose and resident of Cut Off, who died at 9:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 (1995).  Burial was in the church cemetery.  He was the husband of Dolores Adams Pitre; father of Ricky and Rodney Pitre and Gail Galliano; brother of Clifton, Harold and Gerald Pitre.  He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Joseph Sr. and Lucille Edna Guillot Pitre.  He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart.

 

Harold J. Pitre:  Harold J. Pitre, 77, a native Cut Off and resident of Richton, MS passed away Dec. 27, 2016.  Visitation will take place Dec. 30, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10 am until service time.  Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.  Mr. Harold is survived by wife, Theresa S. Pitre; children, Kenneth "Kanky" Pitre (Camilla), and Richard Pitre (Wendy); grandchildren, Jamie Callais, Rachael Matherne, Trey Pitre, Cody Pitre, Brayten Pitre, Brhea Pitre; great-grandchildren Morgan Cheramie, Brady Barilleaux, Tyler Matherne; and brothers, Clifton Pitre and Gerald Pitre.  Mr. Pitre was preceded in death by his daughter Penny Pitre, great-grandchild Cameron Miller; parents Allen Pitre Sr. and Lucille G. Pitre; and brother Allen Pitre Jr.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off entrusted with arrangements.
