Visitation was from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today and burial was in the Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. She was the mother of Linton Vegas and Elva Bruce; the grandmother of 18, the great-grandmother of 53 and the great-great-grandmother of 23. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Joseph Vegas; her parents Alex and Delaide Cantrelle Pitre; her son Roman Vegas; her daughters Mathilda Guilbeau and Amie Guidry; her brother Elie Pitre and her sister Viola Gisclair. Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
