Camille Pitre:  Santerre & Fils Funeral Home (St. Alexis, Matapedia):  (photo) Camille Pitre - At the CHSLD of Matapedia on April 11, 2020 at the age of 84, Mr. Camille Pitre, he lived in Pointe-à-la-Croix and was a native of Pointe-à-la-Garde.   He was the son of the late Alphonse Pitre and the late Rachel Gallant.  Mr. Pitre is survived by: his children: Suzanne, Carol, Jerry, Sylvette, Mireille (daughter of Jacqueline). his sister: Jeannine; his nephews: Serge, Michael.  He also leaves great friends and many acquaintances.  According to his wishes, the burial of his ashes will take place at a later date in the cemetery of Pointe-à-la-Garde in complete privacy with the close members of the family.  The direction was entrusted to The Santerre & Fils Funeral Home Inc., of Carleton a member and certified Distinction of the Corporation des Thanatologues du Québec.  The family would like to thank all the staff of the CLSC and CHSLD de Matapédia for their exceptional service and their human approach.  Also warm thanks to the entire oncology team of Maria's CHBC.  The staff of Santerre & Fils Funeral Home Inc., offers the family its deepest condolences and thanks them for their trust.
