Date of Death: July 2, 2023 - At the Ste-Croix Hospital in Drummondville, on July 2, 2023, passed away at the age of 95 Mr. Valmont Pitre, widower of Mrs. Jeanne Pitre, son of the late Antonio Pitre and the late Rose Arseneault, residing in Drummondville and originally from St-Alexis de Matapedia. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St-Pierre Funeral Services, Drummondville, to receive expressions of sympathy. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated that same day at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family plot in St-Pierre Cemetery. Mr. Pitre is survived by his children: Michel (Monique), Line, Francois (Suzanne) and Stephane (Linda); his grandchildren: Alexandre, Maxime, Jessica, Vincent and Joanie; great-grandson Jimmy; his brothers and sister: Amedee (late Estelle), Valerie and Jean-Marie (Jocelyne); many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Pitre went to join his sons: Richard and Gilles; grandsons: Jonathan and Bryan; his brother Regis and his sister Anita.
