Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Monday, 5 November 1984:  Religious services had been scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, for Adolph Pitre, 67, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Cut Off who died Friday at 9:35 p.m.  Interment was to be in the church cemetery.  He was the husband of the late Anna Dubois Pitre: stepfather of Elvin, Lester and Louise Delatte, Clifford and Norris Thibodaux and the late Maurice Thibodaux; and brother of Rubin and Joseph Pitre, Mary Guillot and Virginia Kramer also the late Allen Pitre Sr., and Amy Bouvier.  He is also survived by 25 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.  Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, is in charge of the arrangements.

Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Sunday, 8 April 1973:  Mrs. Anna Angeline Pitre, in Galliano, La., on Saturday, April 7, 1973, at 10:15 o'clock a.m., wife by first marriage of the late Earlis Thibodeaux, by second marriage Adolph Pitre, mother of Elvin, Lester, Clifford, and Norris Thibodeaux and Mrs. Louise Deslatte, also the late Maurice Thibodeaux; sister of Eugene, Louis, Edward and Gilbert Dubois, also Irene Soudelier, Mrs. Larinne Soudelier, Mrs. Eula Ougel, Mrs. Angeline Bourg, Mrs. Gladys Soudelier, Mrs. Mary Molaison and Mrs. Leola Adams; daughter of the late Etienne Dubois and Cicile Toups, also survived by 22 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, age 54 years; a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from VFW Community Center, Larose, La., on Monday, April 9, 1973 at 9:45 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 10 o'clock a.m.  Interment Holy Rosary Cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Raceland, La., in charge of arrangements.
